how ?? ........ well you can walk, run, skip, drive, take the bus etc - it's up to you.

where ?? ........ you could try any Home Bargains store in the country, but if you go to the one nearest to you then there'll be less distance to travel.
Check out the storefinder if you're not sure where your nearest branch is:
    http://www.tjmorris.co.uk/stores/
If you're making a special journey, then you could ring your chosen store first to ask if they've got any in stock. ;)

I can see mrbirchwood's point at asking how and where to go for these but you did not have the courtesy to say in your original message where you had got them (not very helpful on your part) and I can also see your point at about phoning your nearest store BUT I don't think there so much need for all the sarcasim!!!!!

I read this thread a lot and think the other poster was merely pulling your leg, Im pretty sure they meant no offence. I read most of the threads on here and they are very freindly, dont take it to heart mrbirchwood and nippyone, I hope you see the funny side too x x

Am I missing something or is this a thread for Home Bargains only  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

But I didn't post the original message!!!

Yes, I was being slightly sarcastic but as hgv points out, this IS the Home Bargains thread (a bit like when someone asks in the Poundland thread how much something costs!!). And if we're not allowed to be a bit sarcastic, then why is there a "roll eyes (sarcastic)" emoticon?

Like lupyloo, I think most people would have taken my comments in the spirit in which they were intended, ie a bit of light-hearted leg pulling. After all, I did provide a link to the storefinder and suggest that he ring ahead to save a wasted journey, finishing off my post with a "cheeky wink". Does that really sound like the comments of someone using sarcasm with malice?

If people DO take offence at a jovial dig (especially when it wasn't even aimed at them), then that says a lot more about them than it does of me, so LIGHTEN UP I say !!! _party_:dance:

Hey everyone dont know whether these have been posted before, but in Waterloo today they had 2l bottles of vimto light for 39p. Its dated May but that was fine for the one bottle I bought cos its gone straight in the fridge! I love vimto :D this was £1 in asda last time I looked and that was on a rollback.
Trident lemon chewing gum for 10p.
wasnt in there long and cant remember what else they had.

The Thorntons Misshape bars were back in the Sheffield Parkway store last night, mmm...

I got some of these in Blethcley on monday- wow! What fantastic bargain for a quid as well if these were all perfects theyd be a fiver at least!

Also got Finish POwerball DW tabs, 32+ 16 free for 2.49!! They had loads of these as well I got 2 boxes. if my mathsw is any good thats 5p per wash and I think the tesco value ones ( crap in my hardwater area) are more than that per wash.

The heinz chinese marinades still in got more of the teriyaki marinade- think thats 39p.

the bergen butter cookies at 29p ( the round ones with big hole in) are superb too, absolutely gorgous and taste very expensive ;)

Loads of the vimto at 39p there, but also the still single bottles for lunches at 19p but very strong flavour - I need to water it down!

Abslolutely loads of the national geographic sets ( seemed to have all of them!)

Toms organic all natural toothpaste at £1- this is 2.99 in sainsburys.

Little bags of Foxs butter biscuits - 5 bags in a bag for 49p half the price of everywhere else, again lunch item!

Arabic writing heinz beans 32p ( iiRC) :p

totally gutted as I got to HBs and the alarm started going off- to signify thier delivery!! This was about midday on Monday. Ill try to swing buy early tuesday next time, its guting to go to my monthly trip to HBs to find it all a bit empty :( I did manage to spend 20 quid tho!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
