I think in Thornaby HB it was 2 bottles in cardboard packet for £1.99 ??

The reason I mentioned Poundland's Johnsons Holiday Sun Body Lotion was because 'dc' had replied to someone's message about HB selling a 400ml bottle for £1.29 and 'dc' said Poundland were selling it too so thought this better value for money.

Poundland's is in fact only a 250ml bottle so therefore HB's is better value!

    Today in Retford:

Various sizes of Fairy dishwasher tabs, all claiming to be about half RRP
    Carebears
Still well stocked with various baby items, incl Tommy Tippee
New stocks of Hotchpotch cards, including children's ages
    Bacofoil smoker bags, 39p
    Thornton's misshape bars 99p

Edited to add : the Thornton's bars I bought aren't mixed, but all a soft very slightly fruity mainly white choc bar.

I still haven't had a chance to get over to the Coatbridge one.
Is it bigger than the Rutherglen one?

I think it is a bit bigger - certainly a bit more space in aisles where stuff is a bit more spread out.
I'm suprised we've not bumped into each other yet bubblegumcola:o

I understand that the new shop that opened not that long ago in Hoylake is to close. It isn't doing well - presume that is because you can't park anywhere near the store.
  • I visited the Kettering store today and got-

    Shaun Sheep Flannel 49p
Mini kids Disney princess backpack 79p (also Winnie and Tinkerbell available)
Ben Sherman Body Spray (bish or bash I believe) 59p each
Thomas and My Little Pony jelly beans and mini toy packs 69p (£1.99 in Tesco!!)
    Lazy Town party bags 29p
