Edited to add : the Thornton's bars I bought aren't mixed, but all a soft very slightly fruity mainly white choc bar.

Bishop Auckland had some today. Opened the packet to discover there was only lemon and coffee ones in it.
Fortunately I like lemon and wont eat coffee and him indoors likes coffee and wont touch the lemon.
Bet I can't pick a pack like that again

Sorry I know this isn't HB but it was the only place I could think to put this info that people heading for Spennymoor might see.
When to HB at Spennymoor this afternoon and if you are heading that way, two things to checkout as well as HB
    1) The bargain shop over the main road has some lovely fudge cakes for £2 for a big cake. No name on them but they are nice.
    2) Lidl is having a car park sale - Lots of very big cardboard boxes full of all sorts of stuff.
It's obviously been going on all day so is now pretty well picked over.
There was quite a lot of kids clothes left.
    Free refreshments (tea and biccies)
    Free face painting
    Free kiddies round-a-bout

Back to HB, they had the Thornton's mixed bars and the inside embellishment packs for the scrapbooks but no scrapbooks.

That's the shop, couldn't remember what you called it.
....and please note there is still some of our cake left....not a lot I admit, but there is some.

I was nosey I went to see why Lidl had balloons up again, bet there wont be as much left by lunch time, if/when they do it again.
I've been trying to think what they had left
Light switch panels, both white ones and chrone ones - 2 gang 2 way 400W dimmer one was £2.49
They had lots (if you looked through the right cardboard box) that were two way light switches but there was four switches on each panel which confused me, mind you that doesn't take a lot.
Fair bit of ladies underwear, hold-ups, bras, some knickers
Gents knee length socks which hubby refused
Lights, torches, a few music cds, language cds (French, Italian)
We got odd bits like, kitchen timer, artist's acrylic paints, stickers, telescopic wheel brace, greetings cards

    Any DIY'er and gardeners.

Tubes of various EverBuild sealants and fillers for 99p rrp £3.99.

Tubs of one of the big name brands (forgot which one!!) of wood stains for £1.99 (rrp something like £20!). Various shades. I THINK it was for external use.

Also had Cuprinol (I think!) power sprayer (under a tenner) rrp almost £30 and the big tubs of fence treatment (well under rrp) to put in it. Again really cheap. I didn't take note of the exact price as it's not something I need, but just thought others might want to take a look if they are busy with their garden!

Also had fire pits for a good price.

I really should take a pen and paper with me and write the details down, as I inevitably forget once I get home :D

I've just nipped into the Burslem store and pocked up an Energiser Battery powered mobile phone charger for £2. They had Nokia, Motorola and Sony Ericsson ones, with adapters to fit a couple of different charger types.

They come with 2 lithium AA batterys which are worth more than the price of the charger on their own. RRP on these is £19.99 so a fair bargain.

Ideal for weekends away camping or when away on holiday.
