Just popped into Tescos looking at the games, i noticed they have some for at 2 4 £30, then i noticed Ghost Squad for the Wii at 2 4 £30, but the actual sticker on the case said £14 so if you bought 2 it would be an overcharge of £2 so £4 back dtd, but when i scanned the box they are going through for £19.71, so if you can find them with the stickers on just buy the one and get dtd of £11.42 meaning the games only £8.29, dont know what the games like but hope this helps;)

My 75 year old mother and bought one of these Morphy Richards Steam Irons for £75 today and was charged £150. When she approached Customer service she was told the SEL was OOD and all they could do was to give her it for £75 , which she refused. When asked about the DTD policy she was told it didn't apply to OOD labels , so not knowing what to do or her rights she left without the Iron. Can anyone tell me if it is still possible to contact head office about this as basically they have told her lies to get out of it.
Any advice welcome. Who to contact etc.

    Just an update to this.
My mother phoned HO today and was told that DTD does not apply when the SEL is OOD as it states on the SEL when the offer is up to. Why are people getting this yet others are being told this. Can someone please advise on Tesco's rules on this matter.

Unfortunately, Tesco make the rules up as they go along.

I totally agree that your mother should have had a DTD but what I do not understand is: if your mother was happy to pay the £75 it was advertised at why she did not accept the transaction when it was offered to her for £75. Although may have been entitled to DTD she would have got the product at the price she thought it was anyway.

However if this was someone who was deliberately looking for DTD to get free then I understand not proceeding with transaction!!!!!

right, send an email. say you have clarified it at another cs desk in another tesco who confirmed your mum should have got dtt and they said to send cs online an email. at the very least you should get a voucher or something, even an apology is hard to come by nowadays. let us know how you get on.

You may get a better result if you bypass the monkeys and go to the man:

I need a little bit of advice if anyone is still up.

I'm hoping this is a potential dtd. A tesco near me has a banner on the railings near the petrol station for Fifa 09 ps3 for £29.97, which in tiny print says expires 05/10. However, instore the SEL says £39.97, and it scans at that price, giving a potential dtd of around £20. I'm planning on going down there first thing when cs opens to see if the banner is still there. My predicament is how do i prove about the banner/price outside when it is not visible from the store? I'm worrying like mad as it will be my 1st dtd and what if they refuse it?

I have this before when the FMC dept have forgotten to take the banner down from outside railings advertising at a lower price when the offer has expired.
I received the product for free (that was the days then!) so yes it still applies as they are advertising the product and price.
If this has helped you please don't forget to click Thanks, thankyou.
