What a hostile environment this thread has become, little wonder so many stay away.
Some of you would do well to remember that the contributions of a few led to the creation of this and other threads like it, and that with their continued contribution it would have been far more fruitful than it is nowadays.

There a lot of these stacked up by the back wall at Castle Lane, Bournemouth - two ood SEL's £75

So is it a misprice or is the offer extended.

Ive decided(and i might not be the only one) that it isnt worth posting misprices now, and then getting stick for trying to explain to people about them. ALL of my DtDs involve getting a "golden" afterwards(which according to Tesco T&C's is perfectly legal), but everytime i mention it, my posts seem to be pulled by the mods without any explanation....even tho it is "perfectly legal" to only hold (and hand in) the guarantee bit of the receipt for a refund.....which clearly tells you it is your proof of purchase...

Here, Here. I post a misprice and then get asked some questions which im more than happy to reply and makes sense to reply in the public domain (rather than pm) so others can benefit. This then results in some chat and useful discussion. People then moan about too much chat ( usually those who rarely post mis prices themselves). This all leads to the question is it worth posting misprices FOR THE BENEFIT OF OTHERS in the first place if the end product is either miserable or non posting users having a moan???

I agree, Leadhead and others have saved me a fortune too .. but there are other places to discuss past and current glories. Please can we keep this thread for actual misprices?

I wasnt going to comment, but i am flattered by your words but must say there are much much bigger DtD contributors than me(kronen, heskpesk and edindevon to name but 3)...but my main point is...there ISNT a misprice discussion thread, so there is no where relevant to discuss or explain things where things are vague. I agree we sometimes get carried away with past successes, but to have no explanatios would make the thread useless to those either learning, or not as observant as others. Maybe if u ask for a discussion thread to be created you may be more successful than i was a year or more back

My 75 year old mother and bought one of these Morphy Richards Steam Irons for £75 today and was charged £150. When she approached Customer service she was told the SEL was OOD and all they could do was to give her it for £75 , which she refused. When asked about the DTD policy she was told it didn't apply to OOD labels , so not knowing what to do or her rights she left without the Iron. Can anyone tell me if it is still possible to contact head office about this as basically they have told her lies to get out of it.
Any advice welcome. Who to contact etc.
Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!
