I remember reading about a post for the 1kg beef joint with horseradish topping and stuffing, scanning at £1.75 instead of £7 or something like that. Unfortunately, I can't now find the post to give credit.
Anyway, I noticed that all the products in this range are now being packaged at 800g instead of 1 kg, so upon discovering there were still 1kg 'lamb leg joint with a crunchy rosemary and thyme crumb topping and a delicious stuffing' and the 1kg 'chicken breast joint: boneless chicken breast joint with added water, butter basted for extra succulence and flavour' right at the bottom of the pile, I took them to the till. The chicken scanned at £1.50 and the lamb scanned at £1.75 instead of £7! What a great bargain, now have the next 4 sundays roast sorted - a real treat when on benefits!
Thanks to op for original offer about the beef joint
I went to look for these yesterday but no joy
However I did find another one that's not on your list
PORK LOIN JOINT WITH CRISPY CRACKLING AND PORK,SAGE & ONION STUFFING
It's in a blue "box" (like the newer 800g) - it's flashed with a £5 white circle - and it is about 2 inches longer than the 800g box - so quite easy to see the differences.
Went through at just £1.25 - got the last 2.
BARGAIN - Thanks
As for them being left over from last Xmas - don't know, but mine have a "Display until April 09" & "Use by July 09"

Popped into a larger Tesco today hunting for any bargains!! Seen MORPHY RICHARDS JET STEAM ELITE GENERATOR SEL £75 (usually £150).
Well I thought what a bargain and did not notice at the time that the SEL was out of date;) . I decided to purchase 2 and it was only after after I reached the exit I realised I had been charged £300 for the two items (£150 each).
I made my way to the Customer Service desk and pointed out the error and they very kindly followed me to the shelf for me to point out the SEL stating £75 each. The SEL was out of date on the 02/09 and the lady said she noticed earlier but thought it said 02/10 so presumed offer ran until midnight tonight!!
The lady offered me a £150 refund as overcharged by £75 on each item.As she was talking I happened to see the "Our promise" board and asked whether the Double The Difference policy is applicable for this overcharge!!
After being made to wait for 10 minutes whilst they searched for the Duty Manager I was kindly offered a refund of £300 back onto my card. Of course I accepted and happily left the store with my two Steam Generators. Turns out not quite what my partner and mother was after but as the SA marked the receipt Im not sure if I can take them back for an exchange??
Tesco: Every little helps:T0 -

Nice work, but still doesn't beat those of us who managed to wangle free Xbox 360 Premiums with a game on R&R (£320 if memory serves me correctly), or the very few lucky ones who got the Sony Widescreen TV for free on R&R (over £700).In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

I got a silver playstation 2 on the old days of R&R. It was labelled up at 279 and scanned at 299! Free ps2! LOL

I was amazed to still find the chicken and lamb roasts in my store. Still went anxiously to the till incase I had the wrong ones! Might go back tomorrow and see if any are left. Fancy a beef one!

Nice one, like your style, why take one when you can take 2?
I did the same in R&R days. Store manager point blank refused R&R. Set Dundee on them and money credited back to CC same day. Taught me a lesson. Glad you got away with your DtD so easily!0 -
Thought I would post this on the misprice thread as well.
Tesco in St. Neots, Cambridgeshire is selling Diesel at 115.9p / litre today.
This must be a misprice as Huntingdon was 121.9p at 5pm.
Yesterday's price at St Neots was 122.9p.
115.9p is probably the cheapest in the country so the error will not last!
I think they have input the price of Super unleaded by mistake! :rotfl:Keep SmilingSite member number 24
