Kids clothing - Bought top and trousers velore jogging suit (pictures in clothing section) for kids £6 and £4 with BOGOF labels on each. Discount didn't come off DTD £8 ... sweet !!
If I understand what you've said, you bought 1 top (£6) and 1 trousers (£4) with a BOGOF that (I presume) gives you the cheapest item free.
Hence the £8 DTD - so the complete suit cost you £2.
Shame you didn't pick up 2 tops and 2 trousers - you'd have got 2 suits for FREE.
You'd have paid £20 at the till which would have been £10 too much - DTD gives you full refund - Makes it an old "R&R"

Saw a lady take a STAR WARS TRILOGY box set to CS saying she was overcharged. The box set had a sticker on it. So I am thinking the sticker and price on the sel did not match up. Anyway, saw the lady getting a few £10 notes back. Think this might be a good one. By the time I got upstairs to the movies section, the lady at CS picked all the STAR WARS TRILOGY box sets up and took them away. Damn!0

Hi sorry if this is in the wrong place but I need some advice.
Went to Mr Ts today and bought all in one printer which had a SEL for £50 off.At the till I was charged the full price of £150 so off I marched to CS to sort the overcharge.
CS lady told me that she would honour the £50 off as the SEL had an expire date 09/09/08.
I mentioned to the CS lady that the policy for overcharge was DTD but she said the SEL was out of date and therefore they dont have to DTD.
Not happy with this I asked to speak to the duty Manager who also told me the same story adding it was the stores discression as to whether the pay DTD.
At this point the Manager refunded the overpayment and I asked for the head office number to give them a call.
After giving the head office and explaining the situation the very helpful man told me he would look into the situation and call me back as soon as he had any information.Still waiting but need to know what my position is because as I see it the have allready admitted an over charge by refunding the £50,
please help
Just an update as to the situation.Spoke to HO again and a very nice lady called Doreen dealt with my case. After explaining the whole issue she contacted the store involved and informed them to to honour DTD and to introduce training to the staff so this never happens again.
So after a few phone calls and very helpful staff at HO I now have this issue sorted:j0 -

Not if you did it in one transaction. Remember the cheapest item(s) is always free, so if you had 2x £6 tops and 2x£4 bottoms, both the bottoms would be free, therefore £20 spent at till having expected £12 would be an £8 O/C and £16 back.
However if you did it in 2 transactions 2x£6 tops and the BOGOF did not kick in you would get £12 back. Then do the same for the £4 bottoms.I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

I read this entire thread last night, and went out to get myself a DtD today
I bought daughter 2 of the velour jog tops, but it came off as BOGOF
BUT... I also scoured the SEL's and found an Aquabeads delux set in toy aisle £14.97 promo price £11.22 (dated sometime last month lol) so get £6odd back, not bad for a first attempt! I'll pop it in cupboard for Xmas.
I also noticed there was an OOD on Barbies £12odd BOGOF dated last month but didn't have enough cash on me to try it - I'll maybe try that one next timeskint but in luv :kisses2:0 -

Had a look today nothing at £2.59 SEL in frozen or fresh, seems to have been corrected. Did see a fresh SEL £3.00.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
