sorry for chat but 4got to say there were quite a few off ood sel ending on 20th the ones i checked ; a printer and an iron were still at reduced price.
didnt want to chance checking anynore prices as fear of getting caught!!(not that im doing anything illegal):D just felt like i was:o

On the end of the isle selling joints of beef at £6/kg down from £8.48 sel 18/01/2009 but had full price down the isle same barcode 24207****** sel £8.48. I bought Irish Beef Steak and got full refund from CS

I did the rounds of my 4 local Tesco Extra's & bagged one of these from the Baguley store.
CS didn't offer any resistance, even gave me R&R rather than DTD.
Mind you, i'm not sure what i'm going to do with it :rotfl: ebay maybe!

Also grabbed loads of reduced items - it seems many tesco's are clearing out any tinned/canned/dried/bottled foods that have a best before date any time in 2009.

Branded 500g Basmati rice; 37p!
500g premium mixed dried fruit soaked in Rum, 99p (only marginally more expensive/kg than Tesco's value sultanas!)
There was tonnes of other stuff too - brands I usually wouldn't buy because of their cost.

Did they take the SEL off at baguley ?? its my local but not been able to get there due to illness ? Anything i should look out for as i can go tonight
