the Kodak batteries are rubbish. they arent powerful to use in a digital camera, and in toys they last 5mins - would say they are only suitable for clocks

Fair point about digital cameras - you should use a decent battery there.
But for clocks, remote controls, presents, toys that will be used twice etc - you get a lot of batteries for £1.000 -
