In my experience the £1 tools are mostly dreadful eg.. End flew off the hammer we bought, screwdrivers seem to be made of a really soft metal that wears away very easily.
I now buy tools from wilkos which seem better quality for just a little more money.

Tools worth £1 - craft knives [snap-off blades], cheap chisels [for really rough work], no-nails, big scraper thingy [lol], and that's about it.

My local stores (Newtownards and Belfast) have the book 'The Goddess Experience' which I saw in Urban Outfitters yesterday priced at £16.99! Bit of a difference!

Have you got a branch of The Works near you? I saw this in my local one for,I think £1.99 or £2.99,it's quite a heafty book so would cost a fair bit to post.

Are the biscuits in the small round tall yellow tins any good? Think they are shortbread or something, wasn't sure whether to buy?

Either The Book People or Bananas books have this on their website for 50p. Think the delivery for a single book may be £1.75 (probably codes floating about though!! hth!

In Newcastle under Lyme today, picked up 2 lazy town book and cd sets, really nice cds have songs on and the story on them. one was pink and one was purple can't remember the titles though sorry!
