I was wondering the same thing myself -- I'm guessing there is no sign saying the opening date, as no one has mentioned this. But I imagine someone will report when it finally does open, so hang on! It can't be long now!0 -

I was just about to report that I heard a flyer is going around that says the store opens at 8:30 a.m. Saturday (which is the 6th). I have no idea which date is right, but if you're waiting to come to town until it opens, you may want to wait until someone can confirm it actually is open, lol.0 -
In Reading's free paper there is a little article about the new Poundland and it says it is opening at 8.30 on Saturday morning. If that is not exciting enough there will be music and free balloons and the first 50 customers to spend over £5 will receive a free bottle of sparkling wine!! Personally, I think I might avoid it on Saturday!
I hope that helps although it is really confusing if Head Office give a different date.0
