Cheaper than Poundland?!
Do they have the shampoo and conditioner on offer too?"Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Sadly, they probably aren't. You have no idea how many people come up to me in an average week and ask how much something is."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

No, because jokes have to be amusing.
Just in case anyone is planning a special trip - the 'Rubik's cubes' in our store are not the originals, but a smaller copy version.0 -

lol, good question actually, as I was thinking how with some items you get two or three for a pound (maybe even four? I never really pay attention as I don't go there that often). But basically, almost everything is a pound, and nothing costs more than that. If it's cheaper, like 2 for a pound, there should be a sign. hth0 -

Yes thanks that helps.
That's what I had in mind because I've been to shops called 'The Pound Shop' and prices wildy vary up to £20, ok common sense will tell you some things are not a pound but some things you can be unsure of and it's embarrassing
So thanks again.

Well in Reading Berkshire they are just putting the finishing touches to a Poundland that is right next door to the 99p shop !
Any idea when this opens? Haven't been to Reading for ages and was just thinking about nipping in there but might be worth waiting. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
