Pack of 5 refillable electronic lighters which have little blue led torches inside them! I bought them and then later dh spotted a switch on the side :)
I got some of those ages ago, & think I'm being really funny when someone asks for a light I get a lighter out & switch on the tiny torch:rotfl:, (it's ok I know it's rubbish but it makes me smile)

  • Wanted some cheap reads for holiday instead of paying out loads at WH Smith. Some great chicklits available.

The Deseperate Diary of a Country Housewife - Daisy Waugh
Diary of a manhattan call girl - Tracy Quan
12 Days - shelley silias editor (many famous authors)
How to kill you husband - can't remember the author but I have read this one and it is funny.

All £1 - bargain, got some great DVDs too but not too sure if they are the real thing.:j

  • I was planning to buy a brand name to unblock our bathroom sink like Mr Muscle when i spotted a cheeper product in Poundland.I was sceptical at first but thought it was worth a try for £1 instead of £3 plus elsewhere.
The bottle said to pour entire contents and then leave for 30mins adding boiling water.I left it overnight instead.I must say it worked a treat. My girlfriend has long hair and it seems to get everywhere. The sink was drainning very slowly for days and now it's perfect. Will be buying a few more this week. One for my bath, one for my kitchen sink and a couple of spares.Great bargin which does the job, all for a gold nugget.10/10
The product comes in a large orange bottle.
  • any cheap products for the toilet?
  • Didn't notice any,but there again i wasn't looking for any products to use down the toilet.Only your usual toilet cleaning stuff like Flash for cleaning the bowl.
  • I think Asda are doing two bottles of domestos for £1. Thats twice as good as the pound shops!

Poundland in Liverpool City Centre has been re-vamped and they've made the food aisle longer! Also now doing the milk etc.
I was in there and they have loads of fancy dress stuff - not just halloween dress either :) I managed to get some of the 'Pure' (boots botanics) moisturiser, a rimmel eyeshadow, sally hansen nail varnish, some lovely tea-light candles and a compact mirror (in pink!) that lights up :D handbag essentials for less than a fiver....
