Probably old news as I can see it on HUKD a few weeks ago - got the last one of these from Argyle Street, Glasgow, earlier. Ciate Velvet Manicure.

Oh and my sister wanted me to buy one of each of the Pretty Polly Shape It Up! shorts - surprisingly, there were still plenty left. Got a couple more for myself and one as a gift.

Edit: Saw lots of these in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow earlier (19th January).

Most of it is gone in the stores near me, just odds and sods....though I had a chuckle with another woman at the "Baby's 1st Christmas 2016" stockings!
  • The Poundland in the Clydebank Shopping Centre still had one side of an aisle's worth of 5p Christmas items. Cards, crafts, gift wrap, stockings, hats, ornaments, etc. I nabbed a pair of antler hair clips and a baby hat & booty set (not sure if it's supposed to be a dog or a bear to be honest)...10p total!

Just a FYI for anyone still looking for them - the Rebelle Mini Blasters (for girls) are in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, lots left.

I inspected these today, can't imagine they are comfortable. They were next to hats and gloves, the supplies of which I think are being purposely run down now. Speaking of which, the fuzzy wool gloves I bought earlier in the winter shed like hell, threads are loose and they have developed holes. They're still warm but I can't see them lasting beyond this winter.

I actually went in for some chocolate for the first time in ages. I can't believe how expensive it is and how teeny tiny bars are now! (I ended up buying KitKat toffee, 8x2 sticks @ 107 kcals per snack).

Re the PP Shape It Up! underthings. The big problem with most Spanx/any sort of compression wear is the lack of a pee hole! :D Bought some for my mum as well. Still haven't tried mine!

Edit: Re the 50p "sale" items available, I added more pictures yesterday http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/poundland-core-range-50p-event-store-their-january-sale-50p-poundland-2594433

Another Edit (25 Jan): Tried on the Shape It Up! shorts (the one with bum, tum and thigh compression). Yes, they do look scarily tiny out the packet, but they have plenty of stretch in them. Rolled the thigh sections and eased it up, wasn't too much of a struggle and took about a minute.

(I've heard my mum and sis say they take ages trying to cram themselves in and out of Spanx - though may be the wrong size? Never tried Spanx).

I'm about a size 12-14 at the hips and bum and the M/L size did hold me in a bit more (especially swollen as I'm pre-menstrual :) ).

There were no seam holes (though the packets I got were sealed, some people have been taking them out of packets and leaving them loose in stores) - if I got one of those I wouldn't even try it on - I'd return it.
