The bulbs are already past their best and will definitely be dead by next year. My local garden centre sold all theirs off about 6 weeks ago and even planting then is pushing it a bit. Stick then in a corner now and they might grow but not flower but may at least keep them alive.

Do bulbs actually die though? I'd be inclined to bury them in sol and reap the benefits next spring.

Yes they do. They tend to dry out internally so don't have the water to start the basic growth they need to get started.

Here's a few bits picked up at Argyle Street, Glasgow Poundland earlier.

A Bambi carrier bag (waxed sort of coating), there were other Disney-esque bags there.

Crayola Colour Fun Book, Batman V Superman socks size 6-11 EU 39-45, Monster High And Me! (includes book about me, mini book of screams, monster gel pen, 40 glow stickers - at the stationery section), Anchorman notepad, pack of 2 x A6 notebooks 240 pages, Werther's Original Eclairs 125g (never seen these before, though not a sweetie expert).

Found Garnier BB cream in store today. The only colour they had was extra light. I am pale so hoping that will match!

They also had quite a few Nails Inc nail varnishes in. Some odd colours, but a few pastel shades someone might like. There was a nice red one that was leather effect, whatever that means!
