Poundland in Beaumont Leys, Leicester, are selling 'shewee' lookalike female urination aids for £1. Not sure how well the work, and I won't find out as my anatomy is different. But, I was surprised to see them in a poundland.

I was fascinated, just had to investigate further.

If I see it, I shall defiinitely buy it for £1 and store it under my car seat. Whether I have the nerve to use it publically is another matter!

Eta: I think an empty plastic milk bottle may also be helpful, 2 pints should be sufficient.

    Plenty in Derby.

Picked one up for a BIRTHDAY PRESENT :D

I'll include "advice" along the lines of "ladies of a certain age" having "mishaps" during "moments of excitement" and certain "involuntary acts" (hiccups/sneezing etc.) and that maintaining a "low fluid level" :rotfl: would assist in "preventing little accidents".
With that in mind a gift to help in those emergency situations where a tree will be her best friend :rotfl: when she dare leave the vicinity of her downstairs loo :D

Of course she is a fair way from where she could be considered to be included with the "ladies of a certain age" but it should produce much hilarity :j

No shewee yet :o not sure I can hold on for much longer ;)

Where have you been looking for them?
They are not with those certain "female" items (some "SPECIAL" - IYKWIM ;) ) that you'd perhaps expected them to be.

They're in the "special ?" CAMPING section

The "brand" is actually Poundland's own - PEAK TRAIL

You're looking or a box similar to this ...

    ... approximately 4" wide and 6" tall.

Hopefully VfM' you'll be behind that tree below sooner than you think
(might be worth PRACTICING a few times at home first though before you venture in the woods :rotfl:)
Blimey, what a bizarre pic to put on that site...

From Trongate, Glasgow. Minions flip-flops, the largest size available was 12-13/EUR 31-32, not sure what the size range is. Also Captain America, Superman or Batman varieties. Good to put away for summer!

I suppose we should be grateful to Kraft, and now Mondelez, for completely wrecking the Cadbury brand by turning out more and more of this sort of junk, cheapening everything they use as ingredients, and causing more and more of the stuff that doesn't sell to end up in pound shops. Or should we? :(

Is more sugar product than chocolate, far from the same as it once was. It caters for a market that never knew the real thing. If that's how Mondelez choose to sink the Cadbury's brand into the ground, so be it. It's the impact on the workforce and lasting association with British quality that is the most damaging.

Poundshops do sell some very useful stuff though. What's wrong with spending a pound on an item that isn't junk? (Other than the fact you might have spent 99p on it not so long ago :D).

Back into deepest Essex late today and looking forward to stocking up on items I'm running low on.

Just as well I never buy any of their so called chocolate. Are they even allowed to call it chocolate with such a low cocoa content?

Well I finally found the sought-after shewee thanks to quoia, I'd been looking for a much larger item so was pleased to see how small and discreet it is. Have stuck it in my glove compartment but thinking about it should probably give it a test run over my toilet.

Also bought some more socket safety plugs (12-pack, Wilko I think does them for 25p each) and ankle pop socks which are so handy. The baby range is surprisingly wide, but I'd like to see child safety door locks sold as well - please share if you see any?

To be fair, there were Amazing Value! packs of (Cadburys' competitor Mars-owned) mini Snickers, Milky Way etc packs in that store too. The Cadbury bars are a knock-down price because they're short-dated, might try one on my non-fast day.

I've always been "meh" about Cadbury anyway. Green & Black 37% Milk Chocolate or Lindt Milk Chocolate for me :)

A lot of cheapo Cadbury stuff around lately - such as the now closed Amazon Cadbury Dairy Milk Freddo 6-pack 108 g (Pack of 10) for £1.39 deal.

£1.29 per kilo - which is perhaps a fair indication of the way the Cadbury brand has fallen in value under Mondelez. :)
