I went to local (Birmingham) 99p shop which is now pound land and they do not stock doggie poop scoop bags on rolls 4 pack. Anyone know where to get them. The pet shop sells similar for £2.
    Would nappy bags work instead?

    Saw those in Poundworld today.

Really happy to get some Yankee Candle buckets today in Poundland. They had all 3 colours.

Also a lovely big scent/decanter decorative glass bottle. Two or three colours to choose from.

Does your local council supply them for free??

Our council does, we can pick them up from the local post offices, or council offices, worth checking,

Got these at Trongate, Glasgow Poundland about half an hour ago. Excellent for organising your kitchen cupboards, decent size. Seems to be made by a Turkish brand. 1.5 litres, comes with a lid.

The top compartment swivels to allow you to choose which compartment you want to pour from. 1.5 litre = each compartment holds approx 1/2 a litre.

Saw Alpen Oat Granola packets in Trongate, Glasgow Poundland earlier - 400g*, Linseed & Pumpkin (green packaging) or Raisins & Almonds (red packaging). www.mysupermarket.co.uk/morrisons-price-comparison/Porridge_And_Muesli/Alpen_Oat_Granola_Linseeds_Pumpkin_And_Sunflower_Seeds_400g.html next cheapest is £2 for both varieties, at Asda.

Also Max Factor Erace in Medium or Ivory (concealer stick) at Argyle Street, Glasgow. They also had Max Factor Colour Effect Flipstick (double lipstick) at this store and also at Argyle Street Poundworld. £8.49 in Boots! http://www.boots.com/en/Max-Factor-Colour-Effect-Flipstick_1257596/ I didn't buy one but the shade was a dark red and pink.

Talking of makeup, I am not impressed by the Hello Kitty-branded liquid eyeliner. Very streaky and a plastic nub applicator (I prefer a brush). I'll stick with my favourite NYC!

*Edit: Poundworld are also selling Alpen Oat Granola in 375g, assume Poundland are selling this same size.
  • My local Poundland has not had any of the little round or heart shaped compact mirrors in stock for about three months now, have these been gone for good do you think?
