Has anyone seen this, and if so where? Am hoping they may re-surface now the Christmas tat is being replaced.

Went to a different branch today on the prowl for the mugs. I didn't see any, but I did come across other things that might be useful to others so am reporting back like a good comrade! :D

The was a lot of exercise stuff available, including protein shakes (individual servings of powder to be reconstituted) and bars. Exercise mats, workout towels, skipping ropes, 1kg dumbbells, 0.5kg hand weights, tension bands etc. In fact many of the things that Lidl and Aldi will have as specials next week.

Multipacks of Kettle salt and pepper crisps, scaled down to 5-packs now. Interestingly a Jane Asher Christmas pudding, exp 2018.

One for those who are holding out for a decent delivery charge on the online store. Half price delivery in January at £2, instead of the usual £4. (They did have a free delivery promotion months back, don't know how I missed that!).

  • LouLou, did you try out the makeup sponge yet? I bought one yesterday, have yet to try it. I usually use a Real Techniques one for £6 so will see how it compares!

Got some quite lovely things today, Lee Stafford Blinding Brunette shampoo & conditioner 250ml in each.

City Fashion : Paris book, they also had a Berlin one. This is the one:

Also bought some lovely phone cases by Santoro with pretty illustrations on for iphone 5/5s - they retail at £7.50 elsewhere

    This was in Huddersfield :)

Being something of a masochist (I like compiling lists really) I made a list of some of the better buys on the Poundland site if anyone's a bit stuck. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/half-price-delivery-throughout-january-poundland-online-can-also-buy-bulk-2-p-p-2365930?p=26995366
moominfat on another HUKD thread says "Use code NEW20 for £2 off" (Applies to £20+ spend apparently).

princesse_sarah_x, I hunted everywhere online to find reviews of these Poundland sponges, would be interesting to hear your thoughts. Bought it for my teenage niece so I will ask her what she thinks!

I expect you've all noticed that the gardening bits are coming into store. My local has a few bulbs and some mixed shrubs & blueberries. I bought a 300g pack of Stuttgarter onion sets.

Another one I totally forgot about - Sheba Fine Recipes In Sauce Meat Recipes 8 x 85g (2 x with Rabbit and Vegetables, 2 x with Chicken and Herb Sauce, 2 x with Duck, Chicken and Vegetables, 2 x with Turkey and Vegetables). (Also Argyle Street, Glasgow).

Took a picture instore - they're at the Pet section and marked as £1, doesn't appear to be an "over £1" offer.

Bit of a pain! millcat on HUKD says today, "upon closer inspection they were labelled on the shelf at £2 a box........gutted! I thought the store was called Poundland for a reason....obviously not!
If you can get them for £1 a box, get them whilst you can"

Sorry! There was no other indication these are a different price - no labels or anything, these Sheba packs were at the £1 Pet Section :(
