Nice young houseplants in stock. I say young as they are very small. There is a dracaena for instance that doesn't even have a stem yet, it's just leaves coming out of the soil. None of them where labelled with their names and/or care instructions. Hence I bought one for the garden not realising it was a house plant!

Trongate, Glasgow Poundland has these jumbo 290g chocolate bars from E. Wedel ("Poland's Cadbury" apparently), Bajeczny ("Milk Chocolate With Peanut & Hazelnut Filling, With Pieces of Wafer & Peanuts"), Pierrot (peanut praline & chopped peanuts) or Tiramisu ("chocolate, cocoa, coffee, and cream") varieties. 29% Cocoa Solids & 14% Milk Solids on the Bajeczny bar (pictured).

Reviews of Pierrot http://kevssnackreviews.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/wedel-pierrot-peanut-praline-bar.html and Bajeczny http://grocerygems.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/bajeczny-by-wedel-polish-chocolate-bar.html

Bajeczny is Polish for "fabulous" :)

Edit: I really didn't like Bajeczny! Bit too praline-y (even though it doesn't say praline in the description) and rich for me! Though the upside of that means I'll take ages to finish it!

Bic Pens 8 pack in black and blue .

Also large ceramic bake ware rectangles (including handles 8 1/2" wide almost 13" long) & smaller ovals.

EDIT: The rectangles are almost 3" deep.

A cracking size and solid for a quid.

I tried these recently after a long time. The biscuit tasted stale to me, not an enjoyable experience :(

Poundland now have an online store - the online £1 stores I've bought from the past (onlinepoundstore.co.uk which is a newer one I think, and poundshop.com - which was formerly hereforapound and the first incarnation of poundshop.com) are both great websites and I've made a few orders from those.

Delivery is £4, but I'm sure they will have some promos as they're new? Free delivery over £50.

They even have a "Shuffle" function which looks fun!

    Changed the ratio to fit.

Apparently you can return to store, too, which is handy!

    Edit: Case offers too: http://www.poundland.co.uk/case-deals

Another Edit: I posted a comment on Poundland's FB Wall asking if there were any promos - think as I added a website link (to their site!) it doesn't post such comments to their Wall. Tried asking again, without a link!
  • I found big packs of Tropicana juice in poundland a few days ago. That size costs over double in other supermarkets.

Thanks for that LouLou. We don't have a Poundland in this town and I read this thread trying to remember what to look out for when I visit the branch in the next town. Now I can go online and order! (Don't know if it's strictly money saving but thanks very much! ;) )

  • I found the cutest little Pyrex mini square casserole dishes 0.25l with lid in Birmingham poundland. Now husband and I can have his and hers pies.
