There's been loads of threads about Nutra Nail Gel Perfect on HUKD.

Great idea in theory, rubbish in practice (sorry). It dries quickly, goes on lovely and shiny BUT touch anything and it chips off. It has no longevity whatsoever. I didn't even need to use an acetone remover with it.

I've tried different methods of application (I have a few colours and different batches have leaflets that mention a new way of applying).

If it was longer-lasting it would be a wonder product. I have a UV gel lamp, with various gels and tips, and the Nutra Nail in no way comparable. Sadly.

May as well sneak in a few Poundland things. From Trongate, Glasgow: 2 litre bottle of (fizzy) Vimto and Mr Kiplings 2 x steam puddings in Sticky Toffee Pudding or Golden Syrup varieties.

Homesick Americans might be interested to know they've got Twinkies at the moment (3 for £1 I think?). Also the individual portions of Tate & Lyle maple syrup, pack of 20 for £1.

Anybody tried (not leading brand name) Cracked heel balm/repair cream ?

Wonder how much Urea is in the Poundland one?

Have never caught occasional big brand ones @ £1 or 99p stores

Superdrug had none of their 20% Urea Cracked Heel Repair Cream (£2.32) on shelf

Seen individual portions of Tate & Lyle Golden syrup, and also the pouring bottle for pancakes. The more I think about it, the more I am convinced the post re: 2 bottles of squeezy golden syrup was a case of an errant SEL. But I live in hope ;)

No flapjacks until I source golden syrup at the right price :D
