Poundland Bargain Thread -

Investigated the East Ham branch today. They had a "Squeaky Clean" stand - an obvious generic version of Soap and Glory - with matte tan, shimmering body lotion and nail & cuticle cream, which is what I bought. Smells strongly of raspberries but tbh I think I prefer Aldi's Lacura brand.

The branding looks like this:

A strange thing has happened (at least, you will have noticed if you've been watching the main online £1 shops hereforapound.com and poundshop.com) they seem to have amalgamated. Either that or hereforapound have bought the poundshop.com address? (Can't see any news of the two combining).

Noticed the 4pk 330ml cans of 7up/Pepsi/Tango are back. Much better value thn the 4pk 250ml bottles.

Picked up some decent baking sheets, Kitchen Craft not Jane Asher, I picked up the latter and soon put it down again! It was way thinner and smaller than the former.

Also got some plastic 1L measuring jugs with coloured writing I have been trying to find these for ages.

Picked up a few things in Argyle Street, Glasgow, Poundland earlier.

DermaV10 (I realise it's a Poundland brand) Deep Wrinkle Collagen Filler and another DermaV10 tube called Derma Serum. Will give them a go! (Think they're in new packaging, as they had "Ten Years Younger" on them before?).

From the men's section VO5 Extreme Style Thicken Up Shampoo. 250ml.

Also Lyons Good Morning filter/cafetiere coffee, 150g.



Also got the Johnson's Baby Oil Gel, 200ml, that's been mentioned on here. I like any sort of body moisturiser that dries quickly!

Bought 12 in Horsham a real bargain for Christmas, loads on the shelves. I might add they are for Tree presents, a joke in our family. Seen them in other stores at £1.95.
