Keep an eye out at the 99p shop, they have it intermittently.

It probably won't be of any comfort to know that I picked a load of pears from my parents tree this weekend and turned it into delicious pie filling using this product . It is well worth keeping an eye out for!

I looked in the 99p shop first - but they didn't have any either.

Hiya,

In Lewisham (the only town I know that has two pound shops AND two 99p shops!) in Poundland today they had that T&L stevia mix, along with shedloads of Rimmel eyeshadows, McDougalls 1.5kg self raising flour, and 3 tins of Princes tinned toms for a quid too.

Has anyone tried baking cakes with the Tate & Lyle? Do you just use half the amount you would for sugar?

Today I bought Derma V10 mascara duo, the one with the white base coat on one side and the black at the other end. Came in a black box with a free eyeliner pencil. Bargain!

I'm not sure if I read about this here but if so thanks to whoever posted about the Thomas the tank engine DVDs. I picked up 3 in the Neath store (only ones they had) and was so pleased to find that they're the original series. My toddler absolutely adores Thomas (funnily enough he's also called Thomas!) and we're taking him to Thomas Land in September. They're well worth the £3 I paid.

You can actually get some decent DVDs at Poundland.

Titles like Final Destination, Plan B (love Diane Keaton), Drowning Mona (Bette Midler and Danny DeVito are brilliant) and Miss Nobody.

OK, so they're not new releases, but what do you want for £1 a pop?

Derby isn't a town but it had two Pound Land's, one 99p store and two Pound Worlds...

Have bought some CK eye shadows from Poundland. They seem to be good although I'm not sure how original they are.:D
