It is very nice stuff. As Autumngirl said, a tad strong smelling for me at first but the smell does die down very quickly.
Though it is weird how sense of smell differs - I smell lavender when I first pump it out of the bottle, once I rub it on my skin something much darker & more woody comes out, with occasional hints of a light floral scent, then after about ten mins it just smells very faintly like freshly-showered skin does - though saying that, a lot of floral fragrances turn odd on my skin, I don't seem to have the right chemistry for them.
So, does it work? I think I can see a slight improvement in my psoriasis marks, then again they do flare up and die down on their own at times. But the product feels nice to use. It absorbs so quickly that you can get dressed or get into bed straight away without ruining clothes & sheets, I rate it highly for that as it doesn't leave the skin looking or feeling greasy like other oils do. And it's very softening, so it does what I want it to do.
I think it is definitely worth a quid to try it out.Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0 -
Another vote for the Flexitol oil:T because it's lavender scented I used it as a rub for stomach cramps too and it did help!
Also I ID'ed all the ingredients and most of them are suppose to be good for your hair/ scalp/ hair growth so could probably use it as a hair growth stimulating/ oiling treatment haha.0 -

Also picked up some of the Rimmel Lycra Pro Nail Polish and Collection Skyscraper mascara - both of which I've used before and really like.
Picked up some of these colour-changing LED Lily lights for a garden party but they also make a sweet little bedside ornament. I think they look a lot more expensive than 50p each (£1 for 2pk) and will get some more to add (unpackaged) to gift hampers as a pretty decoration which can also be used:

No they're not solar powered I'm afraid - they're battery-operated and take those little round calculator type batteries. I don't mind this though as it means I can use them indoors all year round.0 -
Got a two pack of nice floral hairbands (shiny resin/plastic, Argyle Street, Glasgow), Milk Chocolate Terry's All Gold (Trongate) and two x 1 litre pump bottles of Great Hair Colour Protect Conditioner* (Bayliss & Harding), found in the Union Street store. http://i.ebayimg.com/t/BAYLIS-HARDING-GREAT-HAIR-COLOUR-PROTECT-CONDITIONER-1-LITRE-NEW-/00/s/MjQyWDIzMA==/$(KGrHqF,!q0FCzVFlZGqBQ0fsruVZQ~~60_35.JPG Can see the conditioner listed online from £4.80 upwards.
*I knew it rung a bell, can see it discussed here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=61337351&postcount=4852 (If I see huge bottles cheap I buy them anyway...as long as it's not that rotten Vaseline-y SuperSilk)

Another one's came back to me..Sex Pistols mugs in Argyle Street. Don't know if it would do for my dad's belated Father's Day, haha.
Oh, and Smurfs Haribo in Trongate..can see them talking about it on HUKD.0 -
Has anyone seen or tried the Derma Nature CoQ10 face creams? I bought the eye cream today. It feels nice & light on, let's see if it is as anti-wrinkling as it promises.
Got a pack of 4 press-stud-fastening document wallets. Very useful to have around and they're normally expensive.Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0 -
mcculloch29 wrote: »I've got this 'cooking with children' cook-book and it's a goodie, although written in a very twee style. Coco is the author's grand-daughter and throughout she refers to 'your Coco' when mentioning a child who might be cooking with you. If you can stop yourself from going  whenever you read this, snap it up!
Friday or Saturday (depends on the store which) are the days for live planting delivery.0
