This happens to me too TravellingAbuela - can go in a few times and see nothing much or nothing worse getting/mentioning then other times i pick up loads.
Think its just one of those shops you need to be in and out regularly to get good stuff! hehe! x

This happened when my nearest Poundland moved into a bigger shop, same amount of stock.

But then a 99p shop moved in next door and the Poundland improvements have been amazing!

New poundland in ek has lots of different annuals today... Lala loopsy, 2 different Star Wars, bear factory, family guy, the wanted, and I think a couple of others too

They had Moon Dough in the Dover shop yesterday. Not the bargain of the century, but still a saving.

Our local is fairly big, but they have filled it to the gunnel's with Christmas tat at the moment. All their good bargains and clearance stock from more expensive shops seems to be moved aside for this. I hope it will improve in the new year. None of Poundland's Christmas tat seems to be that good, have been using 99p store instead seems to have items of better quality this year

Best bargain I have had out of Poundland in the latter part of this year was 2 giant 7+ litre earthen ware mixing basins for baking. They were slightly faulty with a small ridge inside the bowl but otherwise perfect. However, I saw them put these out and they were all gone within 5 minutes. I think you need to be able to check back *a lot* to get the best bargains.

Also in Leeds Crown Point (well, it was last week, we know how quickly good things move from there...). Good book, too.

In the Worthing branch today, packets of dark chocolate Mikado biscuits were scanning 2 for £1 - marked up as £1 each. Most of the staff knew nothing about it and I suspect were about to clear the shelves, as they are yummy!

in peterborough picked up a book about ken dodd today - price on back £16.99, my nan likes him so another gift for her. x
