I got a large bar of Galaxy cookie crumble (197g) in my local Deal store earlier - very handy for my partner's stocking
They also had some really nice christmas cartoon boardbooks, which i got for my little boy, and i also got a christmas cake tin. A little flimsy as expected but as my others have all gone rusty £1 for a new one is great0 -

I'm afraid i can't afford their prices.
I find the 99p shop much more reasonable.0 -
Top tip when buying the touchscreen gloves, check the boxes! Many are empty.0

Today's mini-haul from Poundland in Argyle Street (the old Woolies): Got one of my nieces a "lollipop" made up of Hello Kitty hair elastics, with a cute Hello Kitty pink bow round it..might go back and get some more. Says "£2.50" on a sticker attached to it.
A Cheryl Cole book: "Through My Eyes" for my older niece (turns out she likes her anyway, wasn't sure, her tastes change every five minutes!). http://www.amazon.co.uk/Through-My-Eyes-Cheryl-Cole/dp/0593066383 Says 2010 in the book but still good for any fans of hers. (Should point out that this ISN'T a biography, it's really just pretty pictures and quotes. Like most Amazon reviewers, I didn't realise till after I bought it).
Disney Princess "Clips and hair extensions" in pink, yellow and purple (all in the one pack). A bit cheesy yes, but a bit of fun for a three-year old (they're quite thin strands but a little extra for Lily's stocking).
A manicure kit with pink/white polka dot patterned nail file, scissors, tweezers and nail clippers..hopefully the tweezers aren't craptacular but can't expect too much. Also for my niece as she's always nicking her poor gran's bits and pieces. Comes in purple/polka dot too.
I walked out without a receipt and thought, drat!! I should have took it, in case they're doing any money-off deals! Gah.
For any Weegies looking for Rabbids, they had a ton of them in Kirkintilloch a few weeks ago (might all be gone by now, though).0
