Can anyone help me please. Does your local poundland still have the silicon "callipo" style ice lolly moulds in stock? I want to make sugar free lollies for the summer (diabetic) but my poundland has never stocked these - even though I've checked every time I pop in, and I can't afford the prices of the lakeland ones.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

I got my OH Conan's Brethren by Robert E Howard was a bit worried in case it was a duplicate of this but OH says it's totally different stuff so he was very happy with it.

Also got myself a Tom Holt novel the other week.

Have seen loads of good books in lately (all hardbacks) inc. Ian Rankin, a nice Winnie the pooh one and a fab Beano one, but I couldn't think of anyone I needed to buy them for lol.

tbh, for the money i dont think the poundland ones are worth it either, at £1 each

much cheaper to buy your standard, old fashioned lolly kit, which makes 6-8 lollies at a time, and can be bought in most supermarkets for about £3 (just seen one incl P&P on ebay for £1.49)

  • In Cambridge today i got socket covers (set of 12) and Baby links (the plastic things you can use to attach toys to prams etc), which are normally around £6-£10 in baby shops

Punkygirl , don't use the socket cover's, they make the socket more dangerous, far safer not to use them info here & here

I love Poundland and visit my nearest branch in the next town whenever I can so thanks to everyone who posts. Although it's sometimes frustrating when I feel that I've missed something!
We do have a Poundworld though and I wondered if there's a Poundworld thread that I've missed please or maybe we could start one if not? Thanks for any help:)
