  • My local Poundland have now started charging 10p for the carriers. Be warned the crown point store charge.I know its not a lot but if you havnt got a bag with you it add up and they dont hold much anyway.
  • Today I got wartner, it had fallen down the side of the shelf but my eagle eye spotted it. :D They didnt have any lyclear but Poundworld did, thanks to the OPs. :) Ive noticed all the pound shops have lovely wall stickers etc in, girls and boys and a few different designs. (fairies, vehicles, space etc) Poundworld had some gorgeous big silhouette type wall stickers, I got a fairy one for my bedroom. :o:D

Just to let everyone know that the Enzo 4 way USB hub with barcode 9053873264247 currently in stock in Poundland is most definitely NOT USB 2.0.

I didn't really mind whether or not I got a 2.0 or 1.1 hub, but I wanted to maximise my chances of getting 2.0. I searched for the barcode on the internet and got one result implying it was 2.0. Sadly it was wrong, so if you want a chance at 2.0 then avoid this one.

Other than that it seems to work fine. Also, what you can't see in the picture is that it also has a suction cup on the other side! Pretty nifty.

They didn't charge for carrier bags in my local Poundland today.

I’m not against charging for carrier bags in principle, but I do object to paying for flimsy bags that advertise the shop.

Also, I would have thought that it would slow the queues at the tills down even more :(. It’s easy to give change with £1’s every time, but if they now have to start making the additional change up, then presumably it will take longer.

I picked up a good academic diary in Poundland yesterday. They've got quite a few decent ones. Good, as I usually spend between £5 - £10 on them in WHSmith.

Thanks for this purplerose. I bought a couple today. They have different ones, some of them run from July 2010 to July 2011, others from July 2010 - December 2011, you just need to check inside. I bought a lovely pink one for my DD and a glitzy blue one for me :T.

Telford Poundland have the wall stickers but I only saw dinosaurs. Apart from that there was nothing different to normal.
