Keighley still have the AWT GL diet book. Also a Life on Mars compendium for any fans out there. Plus I saw a lovely book based on a Channel 4 series about a vineyard (can't remember the name sorry!) and now regret not getting it! May have to go back down today.
Another senior moment there - just remembered, the vineyard book is about Monty Waldin and his experiences at Chateau Monty. I think the rrp was around £16.99."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
in Plymouth I picked up some "Little Princess" 6x4 photo frames, printed off pictures I;d taken of our newborn daughter and put them together for my fiance on the bus on the way home.
She couldn't believe it, so happy
Also got a spooks book (BBC TV series) £12.99 price. :rotfl:
One of the nicest things I have read on here for ages.0 -
Poundland today had baking rings in the shapes of a heart, bunny ears and a standard circle, all 11cm. The picture showed an egg inside, but I would think you could use this for pancakes, too.
Also had "How to Be the Perfect Housewife: Entertain in Style" by Anthea Turner. Checked online and the next cheapest I've found is 7.89 at Amazon.0 -

I don't venture in this thread much but wanted to recommend the false eyelashes I bought in poundland today. Had 3 different styles - natural but long, dense long dramatic and cris-crossy long ones with gems on them (bit like these). They are really good, easy to put on and look great, better than the girls aloud ones that cost £5!!!0
