A pack of five tubes of Mentos - brilliant value and cheap enough to let my kids loose on with a bottle of cola and a geyser tube over half term!

Also a large preserving-type jar. They looked a bit dusty but will hopefully come up nice and shiney after a spin through the dishwasher. If it's any good I'll be going back for more.

i bought some lil grow your own herb tubs, they have the compost seeds and a propogator lid on them - they are great! bought a chive one last week and its sprouting already, got a thyme one today! great find for the kids over half term, get them planting u some herbs!

Our local one (Hanley) has some 24 exposure rolls of Kodak VR200 film for all you film fans still out there. They are still 2 years from expiry, I'm running one through now to see what they're like.

They were about a pound, I think.

Have just been to Poundland in Swindon and managed to get

* The Trevor Sorbie Bridal Hair Book which sells for roughly £22.00
*The World of Hair Colour by Dr John Gray which is on Amazon for £33.00

Both brilliant buys if your training or you are a hairdresser and they had plenty of them!

Also managed to pick up Paddy Mcguiness All star Balls Up, which is selling on eBay for £12.00

I was Poundland in Paisley today and they are selling a variety of books/stickers for the new disney film The Princess and the Frog! my daughter wanted the three different types they had. Just next door to it is the works and they had the same books for 2 pound each!. Bargain:)
