I wouldn't be giving 2010 annuals as Christmas presents next year, I got 3 2010 annuals in poundland couple of weeks before Christmas.
  • Got a catering pack of Chicken Bisto which is dated until AUG 2010. A Pirates of the Caribbean Book as posted previously and 2 packs of Sarah Smith Tumble Dryer Sheets with 100% extra sheets free.

In Poundland today they had Key Stage 1 maths books for children aged 5 - 7 years - a great educational book for the kids.

Anyone living near the Wythenshawe, Gtr Manchester branch, the biggish Poundland in the town centre has had a huge clear-out of the Christmas stock and has got loads of new bargains! I'll list what I can remember:

    After Eights
    Maltesers
Pantene Ice Shine Shampoo / Conditioner and Mousse
Olay 'with ribbons' body wash (2 types)
    Iphone in-car charger
    Iphone USB charger
Johnson & Johnson PH45 cream (boxed in glass pot)
Imperial Leather Sensitive Bubble Bath (this is lovely, sooo bubbly)
    3pack ladies thermal socks
Nice new selection of Disney socks, I wanted Daisy Duck but they only had size 3 1/2 to 5 (am a size 7!)
Loads of Wii accessories, DS cases, PSP cases, even 'make your own speakers' for ipods
Bath mats, looked decent quality (avoid the pillowcases though they looked v cheap)
    Pillows and cushion pads
Long gloves (ie, gloves that go to your elbows!)

..and predictably I've forgotten all the rest :) I'm sure I'll go back when the Hubby's not grumbling at me :D

Never too soon to teach the kids the importance of maths - we all know how important it is to make savings and being able to compare prices to get the best value. Bought my nieces these.

    Here's a few things I noticed today:
2L bottles of Sprite, Fanta etc.
Medicine Manager, it has all the days of the week and 4 compartments for each day so you can sort all your pills out for the week
Big pouches of White Maltesers, Mars Planets etc.
Quaker Oats Paw Ridge, original porridge had 10 sachets, syup flavour had 8 sachets
    Honey Nut Bitesize Shredded Wheat
Tracker bars either 8 or 10 in box.

I would if my kids were too young to know the difference - used to do this when albums were cheap in bookshops after christmas. Now they are too old to have annuals at all.

    Hello everyone,

I have noticed that Poundland stores in my area do not sell After Eight 200g any more.
Does anyone know if they will be getting more or this was Christmas promotion only.
Can anyone confirm if there is any fresh After Eight's in your local Poundland.

    Thanks
