I got some false eyelashes, but I haven't tried them out yet.
My boyfriend was very happy to find Real Shaving Company shaving cream, balm and gel, RRP £3.99/£4.99. Good quality stuff.
I also recently saw packs of 4 (I think) metal knives, forks and spoons; good quality. Would be ideal for people starting up a new home.

Has anyone tried any of the makeup they sell?

Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • I've tried quite a few of the makeup products and as long as you're buying a name that you recognise then you should be fine.....I've saved a fortune on lipsticks, foundation, cleansing wipes and false nails...... Have a go, at a pound even if it doesn't suit, you haven't lost a fortune...:j

The Journey to World's End Storybook with Compass (contains 1 Storybook, 1 Compass/Viewer, 10 Disks with 40 Images).

Retails at £12.20 on Amazon (current price).

Captain Jack Sparrow is back for yet another exciting adventure on the high seas. Based on the hit movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, this storybook with compass tells the story of the epic struggle between the world's most powerful pirates and the East India Trading Company to control the seas. Filled with action-packed movie photos, the book also features a working compass that doubles as a viewer to use with the 10 accompanying picture disks. Readers can insert the disks into the compass-viewer and see 40 swashbuckling scenes from the movie. The greates pirate adventure of them all is back in full swing, and this book puts readers right in the middle of all the action!

This ties in well with another present (also Pirates of the Caribbean and also a bargain) given at Christmas. Okay, so Christmas will be slightly extended this year for one of the little people, but at a pound - so worth it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Thanks. Managed to pick one up for my friends little boy in Stockton today. :T

  • Poundland East Kilbride are selling large 8 litre storage boxes with lids - approx 320x220x150mm. I've been buying them by the 10 to replace all the old shoe boxes and random cardboard boxes I'm storing stuff in. Also gave some to fianc!e to store shoes in - can fit a pair of Uggs or 2 pairs of trainers.

  • Poundland Redhill had unofficial Wii steering wheels and guns

Seeing as the Wii stuff is merely plastic shaped objects which you fit your controller into, as opposed to the PS2 etc wheels which actually control the game on their own, there is no point paying the official Wii prices imo. Our controllers fit into the unofficial wheel and gun as we tested them last night
  • we brought the golf clubs from there yesterday , after all they are only bits of plastic so wont pay for the offcial ones.
