Hi travel freak, I did loney planent twice through quidco £1 for 3 issues on magazine group and cancelled, and just done my 2nd subscription of lonely planet through i subscirbe and touch wood not got in trouble. I did conde de nest traveller last year 6 pounds for half a year and a free toiletries gift. I was fuming as never got the gift, emailed and got told its out of stock and no alternative was offered. I since cancelled and done cheaper subscriptions for 3 months twice with that magazine too.I expect I will get banned eventually, Jane0

I know it isn't a magazine so to speak but I hope someone can shed light on this...I signed up to The Times newspaper offer (get it delivered for a week including a Sunday and receive 6 cinema tickets). Well I have had the paper delivered daily since Sunday and still no cinema tickets. I am obviously wanting to cancel today so it ends tomorrow.
Does anyone know anything about this offer and when the tickets are sent?DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -
i would be grateful if someone could give me hand.... i juist signed up for Elle Magazine 3 issues for £3. Should i cancel the direct debit as soon as they take the money from my bank account ? and if so, will they still send me all the issues ?Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0

I took out a 3 month subscription of Good Housekeeping for £3 through isubscribe and canceled my direct debit after receiving the second issue. However, I've now received a fourth copy. Am I commited to continuing on with the subscription?0

Wait for the bill to arrive--
Similar thing happened with me and Which Magazine, had it sent to me for about two years before they must have realised I had not paid them anything since the £1 for three free copies! Never did get the bill for that one though- just check your bank has not already paid them.0 -
Have checked and the money hasn't come out of my bank yet. This will teach me not to read the small print! Always read the Terms and Conditions! I took this out with isubscribe and thought the 3 magazines for £3 was similar to the BBC Magazines offer where you can have 3 magazines for £1 and cancel after they send out the second magazine. Hey ho, will have to see if I get a letter through the door telling me to pay!0

Hi there, I subscribed in May for the above offer 12issues/£12 direct with In Style website. I never received the gift, or an attempted delivery card as proof of postage, even after they claim to have sent it out on 3 separate occasions. Just wondering, did anyone actually receive this gift?
I'm thinking that is was too good to be true, that they didn't actually have the gift to start with. Been offered much cheaper alternatives. They're completely unapologetic and refuse to answer my questions as to the where-abouts of my original gift (there were loads when I signed up). I'm tempted to try and cancel my subscription in protest. Has anyone tried this? Any ideas on how to handle it? Thanks.0 -
The gift normally shows up even before the first issue. Forget the protest, I would cancel anyway.DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0
