I just got a letter off great magazine re Grazi sub with free gift at £14.
I ordered this when there was free gifts still showing and they say that i missed the offer as the gifts had ran out. I am so annoyed that they are trying this con trick on, i have emailed them and sent a letter.SIMPLES!0 -

Just wanted to note this:
I took up an offer for Glamour mag, which siad 6 issues for £6 and free Goldwell haircare set (full sized). I got the freebies before the offer: shampoo, conditioner and intensive treatment, all full size, but the shampoo was not the same as the offer- noneother the less, I know the rules, sometimes they run out and you get a substitution. I began using the stuff (really good quality IMO).
Today, out of the blue, in the post, I get a free shampoo- its the (full sized) shampoo I had been substituted for- so now I have two Goldwell shampoos, and a letter of apology for the substitution that did happen. I get to keep both shampoos too- Good on Glamour for doing this- so many mags just substitute and you never hear anything from them about it.0 -
That's good Jennie. I only subscribe to mags for the good freebies: I got a gorgeous necklace worth £42, an Elemis serum worth £95 and the entire strawberry skincare range from Body Shop. What are the best freebies others have had?0

Does anyone know the best place to look for subscriptions with free gifts that can be taken up without Direct Debit? My problem is that my DD account is registered to my address abroad but I want the gift and sub delivered to my UK address, so I have to use my UK credit card. I have found only a couple of offers recently: eg a current one is Glamour £14 for 12 issues plus free KMS Solperfection hair set at

Any suggestions gratefully received. I am interested in women's mags and homes mags mainly. Thanks!0 -
I once subsribed to Glamour by cheque. Sometimes they just say, eg £9.99 for 12 issues plus free gift from Rimmel worth £24, and if it's for 12 issues they tend to let you pay by cheque. If it's £3 for the first 3 issues, and then £19.99 for 12 thereafter, or a changing, rolling rate, then there is no alternative option. HTH.0

I recently signed up for an offer through Quidco for the Magazine Group, the cashback was showing at £4.50p but only tracked at 45p. I contacted Quidco who said that this should pay at the higher amount, however i've been paid at 45p.
If ne one has similar problems i did actually copy the £4.50p banner head off Quidco stating the offer was for £4.50p, not 45p.
Also i have been shafted by great magazines who's indicator showed there was gifts still available on a offer i applied for through Grazia (£14). Couple days ago they sent letter to say this offer had ran out - i think not, they are very slow to respond to my angry letter

I did the above offer in January and have had two magazines through now, but no Elizabeth Arden goodies. Had anyone else had any yet please?
I'd stay away from iSubscribe, the same thing's happened to me more than once. I'm sure they advertise these free gifts just to get you to subscribe, regardless of what the stock is.I'm a MoneySavingExpert.com lover

Have subscribed twice to Grazia and have never had the gift advertised and recently had to phone up and ask where it was. Still didn't get anything. Cancelled the direct debit at the bank only to get a letter telling me to call them and was told it was a 12 month contract and I couldn't cancel . Did anyone take a screen print when they subscribed for the Elizabeth arden offer as positive it didn't say 12 month minimum.0
