  • That's cool, just didn't know if there was a minimum term beyond the first 3 months.
No sometimes they state a minimum 12 month subscription but if you cancel after the first dd is taken you always receive your gift along with your mags. If you read the terms of the dd guarantee you are well within your rights to cancel at any time so they cant really keep you to 12 months if you pay by dd anyway. I have always cancelled my online banking dd and never bothered contacting the mag company and have never had a problem. Once you do a few you will soon get the swing of it, just dont forget to cancel your dd, I normally cancel a few days after its been taken so I dont forget later.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks, that's fabulous - I've just rung and ordered. Most of my magazine subscriptions have come to an end now, so I'm on the hunt for a few good offers - either with nice gifts, or at a bargain price like this one! Thanks again!
  • I am very tempted by the Grazia/Arden offer but was wondering, having looked on the website and seening nothing about the terms as such, how long I have to stay stubscribed for; can I leave after the £14 is up, eg the 3 months?

I posted the Grazia/Arden offer and am planning to cancel my dd after the first one is taken. Other ppl have done it so shouldn't be a problem.

    Hi all,

just a quick q....I was looking at the easy living sub with kerastase gift, and it says its £12 for 12 issues by direct debit, then £12 every 6 months.
I was wondering if I could order it, get the gift, use the 12 months worth of mags then cancel and sign up to another deal. Does this work? If so how? Say they take the £12 DD in a few days, then I cancel the DD - will I still get the mag every month for 12 months? or if I cancel will they cancel the mag?

Sorry just trying to understand how it all works, if anyone has a dummy proof guide I'd be most grateful :) Newbie to all this :)

I usually wait until nearly the end of the subscription term they usually tell you the date they will collect the next amount. With some publishers they don't send you anymore issues once you cancel -Conde Nast did this with a Vogue sub I had last year only got one of 3 issues then they stopped it. If you manage your bank account online it is dead easy to cancel direct debits.

Anyone know how long the Marie Claires take to arrive? I signed up for the free copy and 3 for £3 I think it was a while back - they said they would send it out in 2 days but Im guessing they are very busy with this good deal?

Do you wait for 1 edition before you cancel anyone know?

    Thanks
