If you have a mobile phone for example O2 you maybe able to get a deal I know O2 offer 8mb broadband for £7.50 for contract users.
Here is a site that has rating of different isp's and also gives you an idea of the major providers http://www.dslzoneuk.net/isp_ratings.phpKind Regards

Hi, I am will Tiscali, £23-£24 a month, discounted line rental and up to 8mg broadband. I am in a really limited area for providers so BT line or tiscali seems to be my option. The package is meant to be £14.99 and have free line rental, but that is not available to me. I have threatened to leave because they didnt advise me that I couldnt get free line rental at the time of upgrading my standard broadband. Unfortunately I can't find anything cheaper and mobile braodband (3G) doesnt cover my area. Only GRPS 15sec for a page to load. Anyone have any alternatives I havent thought of???0

I am also in an area which doesn't allow these free line rental packages?
Does anyone know when other exchanges will be released?
I have tried the Samknows site but that just tells me my exchange hasn't been done.
I think I am stuck with AOL 14.99 too.0 -
This !!!! annoys me so much. Why havent trading standards stepped in and fixed this, you cant advertise something as unlimited when its not.
of course you can, you just need a little star at the end, referring to a FUP, most, if not all, ISPs have some sort of cap of FUP in place, often undefined, but in reality, very few people need 'unlimited', which is handy as the cost of a truly unlimited 8mbs line (used as such 24/7) is somewhat higher than the tenner many people expect to payUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -
The problem seems to be that all ISPs only0
