To contribute to saving for my deposit, I made seven portions of veggie shepherd's pie yesterday. One for yesterday, one for today, and five to freeze for the week (will alternate with spag bol I have). Don't think it had any beans in. Barley, dall (that's not a bean is it?), red lentils, peas...Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!0

Tesco sells dried cannellini beans for 50p for 500gs. When soaked and cooked they make 1kilo. They freeze well and 250gs make the protein base for two people.
