Just in from the chinese so trying to catch up with the posts. and spotted this one
Just combed DS2 and he is hopping again with incy wincy little bugs! Anyone got the nitty gritty comb? Is it any more effective than the others. I know these ones were eggs when I combed him 2 days ago.

Yes - I swear by the nitty gritty comb, more expensive than the others but in our house there's lots of fine hair and its the only one that ever worked properly

PS am trying to correct the spoelling mistakes before I post his time as been on the alkypops tonight :D
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Do you know Dusty a misguided person told me that boys don't get 'em. Never believed it - but have never found any on DS!

My method, for what it's worth is to use lashings of conditioner (cheapo supermarket stuff) and comb and comb. I've alsoi been told to use leave in conditioner by one person and to brush kids hair (dry brush) then ordinary conmb every night cos it breaks their legs.

    Keep combing!

Mind you I need the old reading glasses now to distinguish between grit and nits. can't see their legs anymore :rotfl::rotfl:yet another advantage of being an older mother - 'I see no nits!!!!!!!!~
