pollybear sorry to hear about your uncle
lilacpixie when dd2 was 4wks old it was as much as i could do to get us both dressed & fed each day, housework is definately low priority when they are tiny. she is 5mnths old now & i've only just started to get the house back to normal!!

So had to scrub mum's kitchen floor and it's around 20 feet long! My DB lives with her but he's a bloke and doesn't see dirt. Are they all the same?

it won't be due to the anasthetic but will be due to the fact she is healing, possibly battling germs and infection and trying to boost her Hb levels as well. Make sure she is eating properly and resting enough and prod your brother with a sharp stick.. give him a list of things to do she doesn't just have one child so he can pull his weigth as well.. and no, men see nothing!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Hi
Hugs to Pollybear I'm so sorry for your loss.
Welcome back JillD glad you had a good time.
Welcome to the newbies.
Ds1 is driving me mad. I asked him to tidy his room, it's a bit of a state but i reckon i could do it in about an hour. He's been up there since 8 am and has only tidied a small section. He's been up and down the stairs all morning for the toilet or a drink or to take something down. I've given him till 12 or no movie night tonight and theres no way he'll get it done in that time now. This means my last night with him is ruined. I can't go back on my word because then he'll never learn. i don't see why he can't just tady the blasted thing it's not that hard.
