Evening ladies from a very tired me. I really don't think i stopped either doing something or thinking about what needed doing next all day. I think tomorrow is going to be a busy one too.

I promised my sister i would go to Meadowhall with her, also promised my mum i'd take the boys to see her as we will be away for just over a week, and then they go away for a fortnight the day before we get back, plus she hasn't seen them already since last week. All go.

I'll try and fly around all that, and helpfully, i just cleaned the bathroom suite after my bath as the bathroom looked like a hairdressers as my hair is shedding really badly post pregnancy, and i had also been using my exfoliating grains, so it needed cleaning before the kids could go near it again. Added incentive that my brothers girlfriend may be coming to the house with my sister tomorrow - and she is one of my ex-pupils, so i don't want the house looking an absolute tip in case she says anything to anyone else about it. Nice girl but a bit thick, and doesn't think before opening her mouth sometimes.

tooti frooti your 'so called friend' sounds really thoughtless. It is so hard to ignore these other people at times, but your health has been an issue for so long it is not surprising the house has slipped. You know you have made it better, so praise yourself - no praise like self praise as my dad always says.

Her house will never be perfect.. you don't live there!! None of us are the easiest of people.. I am an absolute witch most of the time.. I am rude and tactless and brutally blunt and so terribly stubborn it is unreal. I am not an easy person to live with!

Maybe there is something a little more intense going on in her life.. like the credit card bill starting to rule their life coupe with increased payments for everything else she may just be a little stretched. Is it possible she doesn't want to 'burden' you with her self inflicted problems when you have so much going on already?

Oh pigpen you say the nicest things!
I can hardly see to type with tears - you are all so lovely - I wish I could be stronger like you all.
I know all her problems - she doesnt hide them from me and it is usually me that sorts them out if I can - I am soft and never say 'no' to her She has no money problems as her husband is well off. I support her but she doesnt support me - that sounds nasty to say but i am beginning to realise she is taking advantage - She often ohones up from work to get me to do things for her as I dont work she thinks I have all the time in the world!!

    TF xx
    Peace will be mine

Just been looking at my uni website as i have to choose an 'option' for the first 2 years of my course. Not sure what to do, wanted to do a language but you have to have a higher in them which i dont have, unless i choose russian or arabic:eek: You dont need to have done a higher in them;) My other options are: Biology, Physics, Moral and Social Philosophy, Management, Economics or Economics and Finance. Nothing really jumps out at me:confused:

Im sorry but she doesnt sound like a good friend to me. Sounds llike she just expected you to stop what you were doing and look after her grandaughter and her friend. When really they were your friends responsibility.

You are not a failure there is not such a thing. Just look at what you have achieved. You are not wasting anyones time and I for one enjoy reading your posts. Believe me no one here thinks you are a dead loss. Do it for yourself and no one else. Whether its five minutes flying or 5 hours it doesnt matter. We all have days where we cant be bothered or would rather read a good book and eat chocolate.

You take care and big hugs for you.

    Hear hear!!! Well said boddy!!

Tootti - we have a rule here, you come and post whether you have completed a list or not even started one. You especially come and post if you are down, we won't judge you, I would admire you if you never cleaned a thing for to me somebody who has faced chemo needs praise and nothing else xx

Again, another flylady who writes the things I can say in my head, but not on paper :D

I'd probably go for Management or Economics and Finance. They'll always come in handy. I thought it was Maths you were doing? Did I get that wrong?
