I Have to cook again tomorrow:(

My folks popped around for their dinner!! And we had mince carrot and onion and spuds!! Then DS1 & DS3 decided that they were still hungry and decided to go into the fridge and swipe most of the beef casserole, then ate the last of the mash potato!!! Dad then went into the kitchen and saw the boys eating.......and grabbed himself a bowl:(.....Im glad to see the kids eating proper food but c'mon!!!!!:( Two dinners in the space of an hour???? as for my dad he should know better than to graze!!!!

Ah well!!!

Mum and Dad cleaned up after dinner:) Also made me sit down and handed me a coffee They are fab!!!

Thanks for the hugs and stuff Its not just the finding things there's other things going on as well but I'm not going to go posting about it here. Lets just say I'm having trouble sleeping again

We went to pick blackberries and got a good haul so I'll sort them out later (they're currently soaking to remove bugs and stuff)


Now I need to go and clean the kitchen up - its a real mess :wave:

Hi everyone,
I missed you all last night as I was on a downer as my day went pear shaped and I didnt get any flying worth talking about done and so decided to read and delete 55 emails as I didnt want to come on and admit to being a failure.:mad: :mad:
My friend ( who I used to think was a very good friend) came in to see me regarding going with her for a medical today - the flat was ok - better than usual and beginning to come together or so i thought - she just laughed at me and said I was fooling my self and it would always be a tip! I was so hurt - still am but didnt let her see it. I couldnt get going yesterday morning after that and then had to go into town and get a birthday present on behalf of my mum ( too lazy to do it herslef) and come home wrap it and then go back to town and post it.:wall:
By teatime I was exhausted but was hoping to do a bit but just couldnt get up the enthusiasm.
Then today I had my ECDL class to go to and then was meeting the same friend to go to doctor - when I met her she had her granddaughter and friend with her - they went swimming and we went to doctor - great - I got her to drop me at lidl's and was doing some shopping when she phoned - she had gone back to work - her grandaughter and friend had missed the bus to her and ir was 2 hours to the next one would I go and get them, entertain them and then put them on the bus!!!!!!!!! That was my afternoon gubbed!!!!!
The girls were ok - both 16 - but useless when it comes to buses here (to be fair they are from bristol and up here on hols this week) so we had something to eat - I had to pay as they had no money - that was £11 - and then after a few shops I got them on the bus - so got home totally nackered!!! and extremely disheartened.
I have done a washing but there must have been a tissue left and my new navy cutoffs are covered in fluff:mad: :mad:
I have pur down some weedkiller and thats it - i wasnt going to post but thought if I leave it another day its only going to get worse.
I havent managed to read all the posts yet - have skimmed a few -
Mudbath - my SIL broke 3 fingers and tips of fingers on each hand and torn ligaments tendons - made aright mess when she came of a horse and had her fingers in plastic splints for ages but it worked and she didnt need pinned so hope you dont have to get yours done:grouphug:

SSL & TIA WELL DONE on doing uni and everyone else thats studying just now or going to be in the new term - I think you are amazing i just wish I had the courage to do it - I have no confidence to be among all these youngsters who seem to have it all at their fingertips!! I am so proud of you all!!!:T

You have all been flying so well I feel I am wasting my time and yours but i really want to do this for me and anyone else who thinks I am a dead loss.

DDs hamster now has a 3 tier rotastak cage...it's spoilt rotten and dd is now officially skint!!

I'm getting grief off my friends for not wanting a party for my 40th - it's not until December for goodness sake!!! Hubby keeps asking what I want and everyone else keeps asking me how i'm going to celebrate. It's not that I don't want to be 40 it's just I don't see how it's different to any other age. Must be getting old and a bah humbug!!!

No flying today as made hamster cage. Tiny bit of S/S and that was it. I will do better tomorrow - maybe:rotfl: xx

Hugs tooti...I've got a friend who always says my house looks 'cozy' and lived in!!!!! Her house is spotless. Saying that, i'm not jealous because she showed me the size of her credit card bill!!! My finger is feeling better in this splint so fingers crossed (not the little one though!!) xx

toottifrootti - you are absolutely NOT a failure and I'm sorry but that wasnt a friend to you at all. It doesnt matter how much or how little you do, it will all come together but it does take time. We all have good days where we achieve loads, and we all have bad days - I'm having a cant be @rsed day and have already asked Pigpen for the evening off but I dont think she noticed, she was too busy worrying about the contents of her safe.

Stay with us and dont worry about what others think :A

Plus sorry I havent replied to anyone elses posts as I havent caught up with the thread today (other than saying kazwookie, sounds like your ma has the most wonderful resting place - hugs to you)

Just renewed my home insurance, very frustrating! My flat is near a river that never floods, but one of the questions is 'is the property within 400m of water?' Grrr, yes it is near a river, but there is no risk of flooding, plus i'm on the 3rd floor so if my flat flooded i'd be very surprised:rolleyes: This vastly reduced my choice of insurers, i have however halved my renewal quote and got £25 on quidco:D

Thanks kazmeister that was a lovely thing to say - I think you are right - I am beginning to doubt her friendship in lots of little things - I know I am not the easiest of people to deal with because of my illnesses but I do so want to get things straightened before I start chemo again and I thought she would have understood - of course her house is ddamn near perfect!! :mad: :mad:
