Well done you! What time did you get up?
Housework only gets noticed when it's not done.
My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.
Can never keep up with the thread - otherwise I'll never get anything done! But hugs to All :grouphug:

    Morning all

    Welcome to the newbies :)

Davgirl - hope your DS gets on OK today.

    Kazwookie, thinking of you.

The weatherman said today would be the best day of the week, and then it chucked it down for the next two hours.......I got the washing back in and respun it and I've just hung it out again, even though it still looks a bit dodgy out there.

Cleaned the kitchen to level 3 but haven't cleaned out a cupboard because they're all OK. I only did the big one under the stairs on Friday!

Put the washing machine on empty for a hot wash with soda crystals and vinegar and that's done and I've wiped it round.

Dampwiped living room and computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs.

Felt so tired this morning that after all that I went back to bed for an hour and finished my book, and felt better for it.

DS went back last night but he rang me when he got home. It was so nice to have him here for a couple of days but I know we'd drive each other mad if we lived together permanently. It's just knowing he's quite a way away, too far for a day trip (to me anyway, I'm not a great traveller).

Hope everyone else is OK :)

    *is just up*

OK, kids need a bath, I need a shower and the house is a tip. We were out all weekend so nothing was done, not even dishes.

Feel free to kick me for being a dirty lazy witch.

  • I've not even looked at the task list for today - I am off to the beach with our friends who are over from NI today so no housework today (apart from a quick sweep up, dishwasher and wipe down of everything after breakfast)

I'll be back tomorrow to get back on top of it! (with 2 days of stuff to do!)
I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever :(
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j

i've done nothing either tia, except order some photos online, which took suprisingly long as a lot to choose from!

my plan was going to be to head out into town soon but i think i'll shower and get dressed first then do HHC prob 12.10-12.40 mainly just the list plus putting laundry away and the bins out. Then i'll go to town, potter a bit and get the shopping i need for DH's meal tonight. and i think i might treat myself to a coffee and reading my book at the new starbucks :)

right....shower then anyone want to join me for a HHC?
