  • With due respect but speaking truth, this has definitely made the book look inferior

However for someone who are familiar with Martin, they will like it...

Actually that isn't the final cover - though it is quite similar to that. The photo is different, and some of the fonts have changed

I have to say that I prefer it to the first book's cover, although that's going from memory as I borrowed it from the library of course :)

Sheesh  first he gets stick for the sadfart picture and now yer calling his book cover!

    I like it :D
But then I never saw the first one :o :shhh: ...which could be an advantage  as I'm not comparing it to anything.

If I saw it on the shelf I'd buy it even with Martins ugly mug on it.

The cover does look kinda jokey and needs a more user friendly (less busy)
Home, Office, bussiness like cover... But im sure the final decision will look fine
and best "O" luck from the west country with the launch... :)

But isn't the idea that 'ordinary', non-business type people will buy the book? If it's too 'business-like' then it may just deter many of the people it's designed to attract?

    :T :j  WTG, Martin!! :j :T

I can well imagine that it feels very EXCITING to have it in your hands after all the time, work and effort that goes into writing a book! :D:D

Wishing you every success with your latest "baby" ;)

 very similar to having a real baby actually ... the labour is not particularly "fun" - but when you have the finished product in your hands - that can feel rather strange but .. very exciting and gratifying ;)

In true money saving fashion we need somebody to buy one copy and then pass it round to everybody that is registered on this site. No sense in everybody buying a copy. :D:D
