hey sinnerman.......you've done this before haven't u lol
  • I got stung by bogus sellers twice a few months ago and what I did was; first I opened a claim with PayPal, but obviously the sellers knew about chargebacks so PayPal couldn't get any money back, after that I opened claims with Ebay against the sellers and at the same time I opened a fraud complaint with my credit card company (Barclaycard). After an absolute age, Barclaycard refunded one of the transactions and last week I got an email from Ebay saying that they had found in my favour on the other claim and I had to print off, sign, and fax a form back to them (to Germany?!).

From what I cna work out, Barclaycard have actually been talking to Ebay about the claims and they seem to have settled it between themselves.

My advice when you're buying from Ebay is to use PayPal (yes I know everyone hates them but at least they usually offer protection on transactions) and to use a credit card because most cards these days come with an atni-internet fraud guarantee and from my case here, it seems it covers online auctions as well.

Sign in, go to Resolution Centre and file a claim

After chargeback request there is a silence from paypal.

How do I communicate to paypal to enquire about the Progress of chargeback or chase for it.

After repoting to ebay there is a silence from them as well.

How do I communicate to with ebay to enquire about the Progress of the complaint.

Who regulates ebay and paypal and force them to do somethig about money collected without goods delivered.

You wont hear from Paypal for 7 days to give the seller time to reply to them. And if he has removed the money from his Paypal account you wont recieve anything.Same thing happened to me but i eventually got the money back from the seller.

So you think you found a lousy seller ?? Go to the Ebay home page and click on 'site map'. Scroll down to 'Search' (left hand column), click on 'Search for Members'. When the new page appears enter the ID "ttriver" in the 'Feedback Profile' box. It makes you think !! ??
