Yes
In May.....
Contact seller......if that fails get in touch with PayPal within 30 days.......when that fails put a claim into E-bay.....they will charge you £15.......so if for around that amount don't bother.
I'm still waiting ...although ebay say they are paying me but they make it so difficult.
Could always try the small claims court if you are in England or Wales (in Scotland we are stuffed) can be done online...assuming you have a valid address for the seller in England or Wales.0 -
How do you start a paypal chargeback ?0 -

Done that, what happens next.
Is refund subject to any qualifications, fees etc.
What else can I do, with ebay perhaps.0 -
How much are you trying to claim back deepee? You will now have to wait 10 days for the seller to respond. If they don't respond after that time you will automatically get your money back PROVIDING there is enough funds in the sellers account to fund this.
Unfortunately though, with the seller now being aware that you have started a chargeback, there is nothing to stop him from taking the money out of his Paypal account now, well before the 10 days are up - that is why I think chargeback is pointless. But good luck and I hope you prove me wrong! The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)0 -

As has already been said now that you have started the chargeback there is nothing for you to do except wait.
The seller has 10 days in which to respond to paypals request for proof of delivery. If the seller has no proof of delivery paypal should find automatically in your favour. If and when they find in your favour they will either remove funds from his paypal account to reimburse you, or if he has already withdrawn funds put a block on his account until funds are credited again.
Putting a block on his account doesn't do you much good unfortunately but it does mean if he takes any paypal payments meanwhile the funds will be taken to go to you, which effectively means he cannot risk ever using his paypal account again.

i have been ripped of ebay to paid £48.00 by postal oders over a month ago seller does not respond to emails and is no longer a registred user now.
filled out ebays buyer protection ebay say i am not covered as paid by postal oders.
also coctacted trading standards they said we cant do nothing if the seller is not trader.
anyone else in the same situation.

As you sent postal orders you will have the sellers address. You could try sending an official looking letter demanding your money back within a set period of time or you will consider the small claims court. However, it is almost certainly not worth a claim for £48 but the seller might not realise that.
Postal orders are unfortunately not much good protection wise , but out of interest what was the sellers feedback like before you bid? That might give a clue as to whether he was a scammer or whether there is some other problem.
