I always said I won 1 prize for every 1000 entered but recenlty its probably 1 for very 300ish
May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080 -
I started coming last June (2007) and by July and August prizes started to come through -
July/Aug I won 15 prizes
September 7 prizes
October 12 prizes
I stopped doing comps as it became too time consuming but had 4 prizes turn up out of the blue in December!
Some prizes were only small things, like a small Shrek donkey or a bottle of suntan lotion or vitamin pills but I had a few decent wins too, like £350 Thomas Cook voucher that we squandered on a penthouse suite in Manchester for the weekend.
I started again in June this year and so far haven't won anything but it seems to take time to get yourself in the system. Just because end dates say for example 31st July it doesn't mean that that's when they draw the prize, notify you of the prize or even send it out. It could be weeks or months before they do that so hold on in there.
The value of prizes I have won in relation to the time I spend entering works out to be much less that minimum wage but I'd rather be sat here day dreaming of winning some of those nice things than sat in the office for an extra two hours.
Besides which, I know that if I earned extra wages I wouldn't spend the money on the kind of things that I could win here - such as £70 on moisturiser! I just couldn't justify that but I'd not decline it if it were given.

I'd probably say I average between 5-10 wins/month and I enter over 100 competitions/day. April was a bumper month for me, had a win practically every day, whereas last month was quite slow and only won 5 things, so it does vary quite a bit, but that's what makes it interesting.
Total to date - £309.15
March wins - Leaves of Grass DVD0 -
Jan - 9
Feb - 6
Mar - 11
Apr - 10
May - 35 (I did well with the Glamour comp)

I think it really is down to luck.
I enter between 25 and 100 a day, if you count month endings.
I don't enter comps for cd/dvds & tickets that I don't want, holidays I can't use, student comps, some regional ones and quite a few other stuff when I think about it (but always try to thank the op anyway for the work they've put in).
In May 4 comps thanks to the daily glamour. June I won 8 comps including a lcd TV, July 3 comps. I'm happy with that and everything I win is wanted.
When you were entered the glamour magazine competitions, did you opt out of the junk mail?It is a scientific fact that your body will not absorb calories if you take it from another person's plate.:A :A :AChocolate is the answer and I don't give a damn whatthe question is.;)0
