The poster with the safety shoes might be allergic to the glue, my fiend's son can't wear trainers as his skin falls off and it's not pleasant to walk on skinned feet.

You could be right, if a bit of glue got into the shoe at that one place then it could cause it.

I don't know if I'm allergic to glue, but I an allergic to brass. Can't remember the medical term for it, but when I was off work for a couple of months and wore jeans and tee-shirts every day my stomach went like my ankle.

Then when I went back to work and started wearing shirts and trousers it cleared up.
  • I've worked in retail for years, and unfortunately they would not refund you for this. I understand where you are coming from, but they will say this should have been apparent when you tried it on in the shop and walked around.

    It's annoying I know.

oh no. i think it was phut, phut phut and phut phut phut

enough of that i was always under the impression that you got a blister because your shoe was slightly too big, hence the rubbing

You're an idiot. You want people to say you're right but you're wrong.
    Can't change that!
Sadly the store manager is right. Like a couple of other people i've worked in a variety of shops, one sold vans trainers infact and kids who skteboard used to say they fell apart. No shoes are made to last skateboarding however this does not make them faulty.
Sadly mate you've one foot bigger than the other or at least slightly different shape. You have to live with that.
Sell them on ebay, cut your loss, buy new shoes. Try them around your house for a couple of hours before wearing them outside.
    That's Mr CrapBag to you...;)
