Are you sure that you want to use vesicle in that context?

Men get blisters, accept it! :p

I'm a man and I've had plenty of blisters from new shoes.

Two weeks ago I started a new job and as part of my job would be going into the factory to see people I was given a brand new pair of steel toe capped trainers buy my employer. They are soft inside and extremely comfortable, but this is what happened the first day I wore them. And it flipping hurt!

The photo is of the inside of my left foot and you can see the trainers too.

The nurse has examined my foot, myself and the health and safety man have examined the trainer and can find nothing that could have caused that. I was given another pair of shoes and my foot healed up. But a week later I tried the trainers again and the same thing happened.

As I said, they are very soft inside and padded with no seams to rub. But after about 6 hours of wearing them, most of that time sitting down at my desk, I start getting a pain in my foot. And this is what I find when I take the trainer off.

The only place the OP's likely to get blisters is on the palms of his hands.

The shoes are either demonstrably faulty or they're not. If something's jagging into your foot, it'll jag into the sales assistant's hand if you show them where it is.

If they're Vans they're skate shoes so they'll be more rigid than most trainers. Thicker socks?
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it

It happened twice, on the two times I wore the shoes. The inside of the shoes are as soft as a disposable nappy. The nurse said the skin wasn't rubbed off as the edges were straight, indicating that it had pealed off. The obvious thing was a blister that burst, but there is no way the shoe could cause a blister, or burst one.

The H&S man think it could be a chemical spilled inside the shoe that caused it. But the shoes were brand new and the factory doesn't use chemicals. The nurse thought it might have been an insect that got trapped inside my sock and bit me. But when it happened the second time she had to admit that it was unlikely.

The shoes are good quality safety shoes made to British Standards, and about 50 of the factory workers wear them and have no problems. And the second pair they gave me cause no problems too, just the first pair.

. . . Also buy shoes at the beginning of the day and not the end because your feet swell during the day and by the afternoon can be bigger than in the morning.

Doesn't this imply it is better to shop for shoes at the end of the day? More chance of avoiding same outcome as OP.

Why does he think he should get a refund? I am a store manager of a shoe shop and I wouldn't give him a bloody refund the cheek of the man....not the shop or the shoes fault he has dodgy feet!

no one is giving me any good advice. what i wanted is advice like "ya man, schuh screwed u. take revenge. beat the store manager up. burn the shop down. firebomb the head office. “where are the chavs in the house? Need yr support guys.

We have given you support its just that we are saying it like it is and not what you want to hear.

I found your earlier post about being a man hater most offensive - how dare you make assumptions about me! I am 46 and have a wonderful man and all my mates are male.

You need to get over yourself - admit it you bought a pair of shoes that was too small, you have already admitted to buying shirts that are too small. Men get blisters too, they also have one side of their body bigger than the other. I wonder if you have checked your testicles lately? You will find that they are not equal sized but one will be bigger than the other and will hang slightly lower too. Oh, I forgot you are the perfect vision of a man aren't you so you won't have any imperfections.

If you are so worried about your injury get yourself down to casualty because you don't want your foot to drop off with gangrene now do you?:rotfl:
