I know theres lots of laptop threads but they don't fit in with what I'd want really...
I'm basicly looking for the cheapest laptop that will let me do the following (without going slow or anything):
-Browse websites
-Listen to music
-Download music
-Possibly watch films (but not so important if it's going to put the price up a lot)
To be honest, I'd be mainly using it for the internet, websites, downloading etc.
Any ideas?? All the tech talk means nothing to me

Ok there is one more thing, which I don't like to admit to! But sometimes, now and then I like to play maplestory... did I really just say that out loud...?Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0

If a PC replacement, you might consider a bigger screen(17"): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-Aspire-7520-Hard-drive-GeForce7000/dp/B000VPLHEM 300 quid
There's also a bay for a second HDD.
More RAM is essential. 2GB will be around 25 quid or so.

MapleStory requirements: Intel Celeron 500 MHz CPU, 64 MB RAM, 750 MB hard disk space (depends on version), Internet connection (at least 56 kbit/s) and Direct3D support
So both machine meet the requirements, though the Acer is a fair bit better.0 -
Is the extra GB easy to install? It looks intimidating...Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0

Not at all.... takes less than five minutes. You'll just remove the old one and replace it with the new.

Hm it does look easy to change the RAM over, but if i bought 1GB would I not just be swapping 1GB for 1GB?
