Ditto!
Surprised at a postie coming along that early! Even 10-11 in the morning would be early round here, its been as late as 3pm recently....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
NI take ages to sort things out in my experience but they DO get there in the end....although it is not much fun having those sorts of bills coming through.
I hope it doesn't spoil your weekend though xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

The parcel has been duly collected from the post office
It was some books I'd ordered from the Book People. Now time to crack on with the rest of the list, I'll start with some housework as I can't get on with ebay or the tax return if everywhee is a mess

Okay, nothing to cross off the list yet, but so far I have: changed my bed, put the first load of washing on, filled and put on the dishwasher, tidied everything away ready for cleaning anfd hoovering, gutted the pile of paperwork on the coffee table, managed to 3/4 fill a binbag with rubbish
Time now for a quick coffee before I whizz round cleaning and hoovering, and then I should be able to crack on with the tax return / ebay / matched betting stuff in an organised way
Couple more bits to add to the list:- Ironing

My wardrobe is now done, I have filled a binbag full of stuff and have about 10 other bits for ebay. The binbag stuff will be used in half-term when ds and I make a guy for bonfire night
... just need to persuade mum and dad to have a bonfire now
Now that I can see what I actually have in the wardrobe I can be sensible and not buy any more: black trousers, white shirts or coats/jacketsI do need some more jeans soon though and some t-shirts that actually fit / have a shape

I have got the halloween stuff out from the top of my wardrobe and I have lots of bits, I also got some haribo starmix which were half-price in somerfield. I spent 10.00 in there (only went for some choccy:o ), but this did include 8 innocent smoothies which ds loves (halfprice) and 2 bottles of the squash we always have (bogof),and some of the little jaffa cakes in boxes for ds lunches, so at least when I go to tesco tomorrow I won't need to pay full price for all theseMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
