I might do my shopping online this weekend, if it's worth 1000points! My first day of new month Grocery Challenge is Mon so could start off with a nice big shop to keep us going! Haven't spent over £50 at Tesco in weeks now though...I really need to sort out a new signature!0

Hi Benben
Well done on the shop, the code wouldn't work for me when I tried last night and I tried on mine and OH's account, never mind there will be another in future.
Well done on that mammoth list you have got through. Don't the holidays flash by though!!

Morning
SS ... cutie teacher has leftIts a shame as he brightened up my day,but I did get his email address
Its payday today so some money has been moved across to the pot, which means the October 2029 is now history and my mortgage is now down to 21 years exactly :j :j A long way to go but its progressing nicely
A nice easy day again today, a lazy morning then we're meeting Tigzem and her daughter this afternoonMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Jut worked out that at the start of the summer holidays my mf date was March 2030, meaning I've knocked 6 months off the mortgage in 6 weeks :j :j :jMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

You're really charging along, aren't you! You've done brilliantly over these holidays - given ds a lovely time, and yet knocked all that time off the mortgage, its amazing.
Hope you have a lovely day today with Tigzem, raise a toast - or an ice cream, anyway!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
BB I'm hoping you're going to kick my butt today as you're such an inspiration, you're so organised.... I'm not!! Do you meal plan? I need to but run out of ideas.
Looking forward to this afty, we have to pop to Asda now tho as DD got Elefun from OH's parents and they only bought 2 batteries, not 4, DD is upset!! Whilst I'm there I'm going to buy some of their wine that's on offer, 3 for £10, some bottles are normally £8.Plus I have a £2 off voucher when I spend £10... will put them away for Xmas presents....hopefully!!! xx"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." I've never got into the habit of meal planning
It would save me money I'm sure but is one of those things I can't stick to. How about starting with your signature Tigz, did you meet the end of June target??

It's everything BB - If I have spare money, instead of going towards debt I spend it! On food, on DD, on anything, I just can't seem to keep it going, haven't updated my diary for ages... I need a big kick!!! (but not too hard!)"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke
